State of the Smart Region
To celebrate the launch of the Smart Region Consortium, along with iDP, ASU, GPEC, and MAG are hosting the State of the Smart Region dinner where we will gather Elected Officials, Chief Information Officers, University Leaders, and Technology Industry Champions; to network, discuss, learn, and showcase the latest advancements of Smart Campus, City, and Region initiatives.
THE SMART REGION CONSORTIUM
A collaborative applied research and implementation partnership between public-sector, academia, industry and civic institutions to drive the creation, advancement and adoption of smart city technologythat improves the quality of life for all citizens and businesses within Greater Phoenix communities.
Participating in the Consortium means committing to become an innovative region that intentionally collaborates on issues that impact the quality of life and well-being for all residents and businesses.
THE SMART REGION VISION
Transform the Greater Phoenix region into a global leader in public-sector governance and private sector innovation to support sustainable, resilient, healthy, and equitable communities and neighborhoods.
SMART REGION FRAMEWORK
The framework is a model built from the needs and priorities of each municipality.
The Region will come together on developing a set of standards and practices that enable testing, best practice sharing, procurement, and implementation.
The framework is implemented in partnership with GPEC, communities, county, and Arizona State University.
