Cisco and the Arizona Institute for Digital Progress have partnered together for this season’s Smart City Hackathon. Cisco, a leader in Smart Cities technologies and networking infrastructure, is looking to help aid developers and local talent to solve challenges faced within Phoenix and other similar cities. As such, they have provided access to their Edge Analytics Fabric platform for each participating team that allows for rapid development of applications and integrations. The platform provides a scalable and open-architecture approach to analyze and take action on real time streaming and historical data. In addition, Cisco will be providing hardware for testing that includes their ruggedized routing and switching portfolio. These devices bring Cisco’s enterprise level security, connectivity, manageability, and reliability to the edge with ruggedized housings and specialized mounting to satisfy any Smart City or IoT challenge. This hardware employs a layer of distributed computing Cisco terms IOx, to allow the applications to run directly on the hardware connecting it. Join us during this hackathon to have unprecedented access and training on some of Cisco’s top technologies.
Registration Ends - January 30th 11:59 PM
